High efficiency to enlarge autonomy and fuel savings
ELECTRIC BOATS :
Electric energy is cheap but batteries and motors are expensive, so the autonomy is a real problem. Your have to choose a high efficiency thruster to minimise battery installation, and the consumption because you can’t recharge easily.
